Eric HuebnerEric Huebner, Certus Medical

I was inspired to be a part of Champ Camp after attending my first Sneaker Ball this past year. The stories I heard really impacted me and made me want to dive in and really get involved in the heart of this organization. I have been in the sales sector of medical device for the past 20 years. Seven years ago, I started my own distributorship, Certus Medical with my business partner. I also sit on the board of directors for a software startup, Olio. I have been married to Melissa for 16 years. We have two boys-  Cole (12) and Reid (10). I love coaching them in football, lacrosse and basketball. My lifelong passion is downhill skiing. A day on the mountain skiing with my family and a blue sky is my paradise.

I recently joined the CHAMP Camp board after volunteering at the Silver Sneaker Ball a few years back.  I absolutely love everything about the camp, it’s volunteers, and it’s mission.  Growing up my best friend had breathing issues from Cystic Fibrosis.  She passed away when we were 21.  This organization and all it brings to children holds dear to my heart!  I’m a CPA at Deloitte, married to my wonderful husband Matt, and recently welcomed triplets (2 girls, 1 boy) into the world!

Kim BertkeKimberly (Kim) Bertke, Sr. Account Lead with Eli Lilly and Company

Early in Kim’s career, she worked in the not-for-profit world planning and managing fundraising events. In 2010, Kim was working for a small boutique marketing agency and her boss requested volunteers to help with the Champ Camp’s Silver Sneaker Ball. She jumped at the chance to give back to the community because it was something she was missing in her now corporate life. Since then, she has been an integral part in the gala auction committee which includes helping to ensure everything runs smoothly the night of the event. Kim is thrilled to have been considered and now accepted onto the Board where she can continue to further the mission of Champ Camp.
