Dear CHAMP Camper,

Summer is almost here and the warming weather reminds me of one of my favorite activities: CHAMP Camp. Though I graduated in 2002, I recall with much love all of the friends I made and the experiences we shared at Camp. (I haven't forgotten about those pranks, either!) For that reason, I am excited to announce that CHAMP Camp is working to develop 2nd Gear!

You may remember that five years ago, alumni campers and counselors set the foundations for a program that would enable Camp alumni to reconnect on a regular basis. In addition to serving as a reunion opportunity, 2nd Gear would be an avenue to continue the spirit of Camp and to explore new activities as an adult.

In order to proceed further, we need your help. Our first task is to ascertain what activities you would be interested in and to what degree you would like to participate. Initial ideas have included local get-togethers, such as ice skating/rolling and other activities, as well as bigger adventures, such as shopping in Nashville, a trip to Chicago, or a weekend in Las Vegas. Although we will probably need to start out small, we want to hear about your goals for 2nd Gear and whether you would like to be involved in organization and planning discussions.
